v1.6.0MINOR
Platform Update
Added
  • You can now pin a conversation so it stays at the top of the sidebar instead of sinking down the date list as newer chats arrive. Pinned chats sit in their own collapsible group above Today, and the group stays open or closed the way you left it.
  • Any assistant reply can now be branched into a new chat. The branch starts as a verbatim copy of the conversation up to and including that reply, then goes its own way — continuing it never touches the original, and deleting the original never breaks it. Branching costs no credits, and the copied replies carry no credit charge. A branched chat is titled after the one it came from and shows a card naming its parent, which you can click to go back.
Changed
  • Sidebar conversation titles now use the full width of the row. The pin and options buttons stay out of the way until you hover a row, rather than permanently reserving space, so more of each title is readable at a glance. Hovering a title too long to fit scrolls it into view and back.
  • A row's actions now live in a ⋯ menu holding Share, Rename, Pin, and Delete. Share is new here — previously you could only share the chat you had open.

v1.5.0MINOR
Platform Update
Added
  • A Search toggle in the chat message box turns on web search for your next message. Replies then draw on live results and list every source they used — as links under the answer, and in a panel giving each source's title, site, and a short excerpt. Sources stay attached to the message, so they are still there after a reload. Search is off by default, and the message box tells you it costs a few extra credits before you send.
  • While a search is running, the reply shows what is being searched for instead of sitting blank — and if the search doesn't come back, it says so plainly rather than quietly answering without sources.
  • You can now share a chat as a public link that anyone can read without signing in. The link opens a frozen copy taken at the moment you shared, so later edits to your own chat never leak, and revoking the link is the one thing that breaks it. Shared pages are excluded from search engines.
  • Long conversations no longer slow down in cost or hit the model's limit. Once a chat grows past a certain size, Anvil summarizes the earlier part of it in the background of your next message and sends that summary in place of those messages. Nothing is deleted — every message is still there when you reload, and still searchable — and the conversation shows a divider marking where it happened, which you can open to read the summary the assistant is working from. The summarizing costs you no credits.

v1.4.0MINOR
Platform Update
Added
  • Diagrams in chat replies are now drawn as real diagrams instead of pictures made of pipe characters: when the assistant explains a flow, architecture, sequence, or hierarchy it renders as a proper flowchart, with a toggle to see the diagram's source and a copy button. Wide diagrams scroll sideways, and they follow whichever theme you are using.
  • The same diagram rendering works in the Prompt Enhancer and Translate output previews.
Fixed
  • You can now scroll up freely while a reply is still being written. Previously the conversation pulled itself back to the bottom on every repaint, so it took several attempts to get away from it — and when the reply finished it jumped back down again, losing your place. Scrolling back to the bottom resumes following the reply as before.

v1.3.0MINOR
Platform Update
Added
  • Anvil can now be installed as an app — add it to your phone's home screen or your desktop and it opens in its own window, without browser chrome, straight to your dashboard.
  • An "Install app" button in the dashboard sidebar triggers the install where your browser supports it, and otherwise shows the exact steps for your device — including iPhone and iPad, where installing goes through Safari's share sheet.
